What size diameter hole did you drill in the mosfet board to connect the cables? The construction manual file says to connect 1 gauge welding wire to the mosfet board, but the pictures I have seen on here of Shawns welder so a much smaller gauge wire.RStarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16143671117086061271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762737823950168623.post-38457397331469215362010-02-22T22:49:47.607-08:002010-02-22T22:49:47.607-08:00What kind of DVOM meter are you using Brian? If you take your 25.5AC - 1.4v(volt drop over your diodes) = 24.1 X 1.4 = 33.75VDC.<br />You should get about 23.6VDC between point 13 and any GND point on P3. Check if R1 and R6 are the correct values and also check if they are soldered without making a dry joint.Fritzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01082504234684948258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762737823950168623.post-63341711262311338762010-02-21T11:18:56.955-08:002010-02-21T11:18:56.955-08:00Mosfet board completed. I need help with control board question. I get 5 VDC at appropriate check points but the expected 24 VDC reads 22.85 VDC at P3. AC from transformer at P1 reads 25.5 VAC and at D1 33.75 VDC. Any ideas why DC at D1 and P3 is low?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-762737823950168623.post-88986230779229892372010-02-18T21:01:45.622-08:002010-02-18T21:01:45.622-08:00Guys, I'll rather wait until I have the boards...Guys, I'll rather wait until I have the boards.
