  4. Sid, this LCD has an on board resistor already built in. What diode are you talking about?? It's your board, you can add anything you feel like, If you think my circuit is wrong.*smile*

Fritz, I am planning to come up with a battery tab welder of some sort. I "googled" into this site; this is impressive! I have to learn more but I am thinking perhaps this is the kind of thing I ought to consider building. I am a bit confused after reading a lot of posts, but as of now, is everything needed to build your design available from you or from other good sources? I have not designed switching power supplies or projects like this in a very long time. I am grateful for your many hours of work and sacrifice to present this design and make it possible for others to build it. Keep going! Don't quit just when I've found this site! People like you are far too rare these days; I admire you and your work. I will be sure to share this with anyone I find who is looking for this kind of product. Perhaps if enough people discover your site, you will get the sales you need to keep going.

    best regards,

  7. Thanks for all the kind words Larry :) Many things changed from the time this blog started and I guess it is confusing if you haven't followed it from the beginning. There are many things that I said I was not going to do and then ended up doing it anyway. I should write a summary to make it a little easier for newcomers to understand. I am busy running out of PCB's and because of the slow rate I am not going to buy anymore when these ones are gone. You can get the 2 PCB's from me and they will have the manuals and bill of materials included.
